NSSA Terms and Conditions

By accessing the resources or site (nat-ssa.org) of the National Student Speakers Association, Registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit (NSSA), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change and modify these Terms at any time without notice.

We are not associated or affiliated with any other trademarked entities unless explicitly mentioned, including but not limited to National Speakers Association, Collegeboard, and Advanced Placement. Some images presented and used were found on unsplash.com. For best browser compatibility please use Google Chrome. We do not take responsibility for any technical difficulties; but if you experience one, please contact us and we may attempt to fix it.

All opinions presented, including but not limited to updates or a similar medium, are solely of the individual responsible for said opinion. They do not represent the opinion of NSSA. Further, NSSA offers no legal, financial, mental, medial, religious, or any form of advice. Some workshops, resources, or events may address matters of this nature, but they are not formal issues of advice. Any actions from following these opinions is at your own risk; NSSA is in no way responsible for these.

The Website is the property of NSSA. You may use the website provided that you meet the following provisions: you must use it solely for personal purposes (non-commercial), must not sell, modify, copy, distribute, republish, download, post, or transmit the Website or its content without prior explicit written permission, must not engage in illegal activity or violate the rights of others when using the Website, and must not attempt to attack the Website in any way.

We do not collect information for the purpose of advertising or identifying individual users that use the Website. We use Google Analytics to track users’ habits on the Website, such as time spent on a page or referral sites to improve the experience of using the Website, never identifying any individual or collecting personal data. Google Analytics does collect some information about users, including but not limited to geolocation data (by city and country), time of usage, inferences to create broad user profiles (not individual but for groups of people), and IP address, but we do not store or sell this data. Google Analytics uses cookies as do some of the embedded content such as YouTube videos, which you can disable through your browser settings.

You may create a hyperlink to the Website provided the following provisions are met: first, the link does not portray NSSA in a negative manner (determined solely by NSSA), second, the link does not create the appearance of affiliation with or sponsorship by NSSA without prior explicit written permission (determined solely by NSSA), and third, the link and its full context on the website has been approved by NSSA before the link is published through NSSA’s prior explicit written permission.

If you access a link to any other website, you do so at your own risk. NSSA is not responsible or liable for the content of other websites or your experience on those websites. By including references or links to other entities, NSSA is in no way endorsing these entities.

Any testimonials on the Website reflect individual, real life experiences. These may not be the typical experiences and they may not be necessarily representative of all of those who use the Website, as NSSA does not guarantee any experience of any individual. The testimonials stay true to the original intent, although some may be shortened for length purposes and relevance.

You agree not to display or use these trademarks in any manner without NSSA’s prior explicit written permission, including but not limited to when linking to the website.
